Speakers Bureau created
The American Red Cross of Upper Northumberland County has established a Speakers Bureau to provide the community with an opportunity to learn more about the various programs offered by the Red Cross as well as to become better educated in disaster preparedness and health and safety techniques. The Chapter has staff available to provide a general program on services and features of the Red Cross and specific topics such as: Preparing Your Business for Disaster, Pet First Aid, Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces, Volunteer Opportunities in the Red Cross, Pandemic Flu Response, Automated External Defibrillator(AED) use, and Blood Collection practices. Presentations can be targeted to specific groups and adjusted to presentation time whether it be 10 or 30 minutes, and are free for any interested group, club, or organization in Upper Northumberland County .
