You could be the person others look to in a crisis. Basic First Aid and CPR can give you the knowledge to act in an emergency. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is the device you see in many public places. They are simple to use and may mean the difference between life and death. This class will show you how to use an AED.
Did you know that babysitters who have American Red Cross certification can earn twice as much as their untrained counterparts? You must be 11-15 years of age to attend. The course lasts one full day and students should plan on bringing a bag lunch.
Have a young adult home for the summer? One of the most enjoyable summer jobs around is to be a lifeguard. American Red Cross certified lifeguards may be hired first.
Do you enjoy camping and hiking? Are you looking for an outdoor adventure this summer? Wilderness First Aid is the training to keep you safe in the wild.
HIV/AIDS Awareness Still one of the most misunderstood illnesses of our time, this training can help you understand how you can become infected with HIV, how to stay safe and how to assist others living with HIV.
